Everyday Makeup Look

Now having invested in my two new camera toys I thought I would do what I call my "Everyday Face". Now during the week I normally don't wear any makeup at all, as where I work they would wonder why I am making such an effort (even though its not that much makeup to begin with!) and also as soon as I get to college I have to take the make up off anyway .This is my go to look if I am going out during the day, meeting up with friends etc.

Now after the cleansing and moisturising with Botanics Shine Away Mattifying Gel Cream and the Dr Organics Coconut Eye Cream. I start with the Big Easy Complexion Perfector from benefit and the Buffing Brush from Real Techniques, which is great for the winter months as its a bit thicker than a tinted moisturiser but has a liquid to powder feel, living the skin with a not too mattified look which is great if your like me and have combination oily skin.

Then as my skin hasn't been that great I go in with a little concealer (a little so that it doesn't make my skin worse!) on a fluffy brush from Eco Tools. I use a colour the same as my foundation for on my face so that it blends well with the rest and then a shade lighter under the eyes to brighten them a little (obviously this image is before blending with the crazy bright eyes!)

After a lot of buffing, its then onto the brows. I brush through the brow brush from Eco Tools and then fill them in with an angled brush and Anastasia dip brow pomade in chocolate. I then set my face (avoiding the brows, I would normally do my brows after the powder but had a bit of a brain fart) with Rimmel Stay Matte pressed Powder and the buffing brush used earlier on.

Now for the eyes, as it is an every day look I normally just go for a neutral base and a winged liner. I use the Mac Painterly Paint Pot , patting that all over the eye. I then set this using a light eye shadow, this one being an Inglot Freedom System eyeshadow in 353. Brushing this all over the eyelid with a Deluxe Crease Brush from Real Techniques.

Then for the gel eyeliner, now this little one can be my best friend or my worst enemy depending on what mood its in. This is the Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama  and I use the brush that comes with the gel as its a great size and really easy to get to a fine point.
Ensure you make this look if you get your flicks the same on the first try, as it is something award worthy when it happens.
I then go over the liner with a matte black, this one is an Inglot Freedom System eyeshadow in 391. I do this as it sharpens up the gel eyeliner an also ensures that it stays put and doesn't slide on the eye lid.

Then its just the finishing touches, I curl my lashes otherwise they would be as flat as a pancake (yes the crazy eyes is necessary when doing this). I then use MUA Mega Volume Mascara which is waterproof as I find waterproof mascaras actually hold the curl in the lash. Then a little bit of contour to warm my face up (if you can't tell already I am rather pale!) I do this using the Sleek Contour Kit in light with the Real Techniques Contouring Brush. Then going in with a light blush (the one on the right not the left!!) from my Blush Cosmetics Blusher Palette using the Real Techniques Stippling Brush .

That is it, you can add a lip colour if you like, but when I know i'll be eating or drink the bulk of the day I don't wear a lip colour, this is to avoid spreading the lip colour around my face without realising and looking like a crazy person!

I add a little carmex to my lips to prevent them from drying out.
Either with or without a fringe, thats your choice!

I hope you guys enjoyed this and if there are any looks that you would like to see, leave a comment below and I will add them to my to-do list. Whats your go to every day look?
